September 02, 2013: MediaTakeOut.com is sad to report that a 1-year-old boy has died after being shot in the head Sunday evening in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.
According to police, the boy — identified as Antiq Hennis of Brooklyn — was in a stroller crossing Livonia Avenue with his parents at the time. Antiq’s father was pushing him down the sidewalk, when a man walked up and shot the baby in the head.
Antiq, who had just turned 1 year old, was rushed to nearby hospital, but he died.
According to one witness, the shooting was a RETALIATION against Antiq's uncle. Police have not yet confirmed that witness' account.
